Press Release Summary = Boston, MA - This fall get closer to nature, taste unique

occupancy (plus taxes and fees). Friday departures are just $80 more, a decrease

stay free, and pay only a child's airfare.

Visitors to the Azores will enjoy the warm breeze of spring like temperatures
year-round. Summer weather can last into late December. This pleasant environment
provides a great atmosphere for exploring quaint seaside villages, bustling harbors,
and unique cities overflowing with architectural treasures. The islands offer
churches, palaces, and museums framed by the sea and mountainous landscape.
Travelers interested in taking the unbeaten path can walk around volcanic
mountainsides, cool off in a natural swimming pool formed when volcanic lava met the
cold sea or they can view a lush garden at the bottom of a volcanic crater.

island of São Miguel. The island is known for it's breathtaking landscape including

Four new hotels have been added to travel packages to São Miguel. Travelers who want
to immerse themselves in Azores history day and night can stay at the Hotel do
Colégio located in the center of Ponta Delgada. This unique hotel emerged from the
adaptation of a 19th century urban building. The building was a respected school and
most recently served as the musical academy of the Regional Conservatory. Historical
architectural elements of typical masonry and local basalt work are prevalent. The
hotel is made up of a Conservatory wing and a School wing that showcase memorabilia
from its' origin. The hotel also features a fabulous restaurant, A Colmeia, which
serves dishes using local products and is considered amongst the best in Azorean

Individuals seeking to experience the Azorean city life will be pleased to explore
the island of Terceira. The island's historic city streets transport travelers back
to the 16th and 17th centuries. Visitors can tour the first European urban center
built in the 16th century, Angra Do Heroísmo, which has received UNESCO World
Heritage status. Golfers will be challenged on the island's course. For a
cosmopolitan atmosphere the island features marinas that attract yachts crossing the

winds along the harbor providing an inviting path to gardens, churches, and museums.
Visitors can hike to the site of a 1957-8 eruption of the Capelinhos Volcano, now
dormant and view the 300-foot crater of the extinct volcano from the island's
central Caldeira.

avenue in the city center of Horta. The hotel offers a breathtaking view over the
city bay and Pico Mountain. The Horta Marina is also the starting point for whale
